Getting involved in community activities or volunteering can boost a kids confidence and build skills. We have organized a number of events specifically for our local home school kids to have fun together. The Museum has started a program to bring local students together once a month to learn, build relationships with each other, and dive deeper into the great community we are. We have noticed if our youth take interest in the community, they can grow to do more and learn to respect our past and honor those that came before us.
The first Tuesday of each month, starting in September and going through May of 2023, we will be hosting a workshop for youth to experience more of what our area has to offer! Each class will be different, but each class with offer a fun activity and a dose of history! We are always open to suggestion, and welcome parents to offer ideas to make this program stronger and more enticing to our youth.
